WEEKEND LOSSES!

Great! So I lost my lyric-music-notebook!

A little irritated at first.. For like the first 10minutes, then I thought... surely, you wrote these songs,, you've got to remember them... and if you can't then they were obviously just not worth keeping! And so begins a weekend of re-creativity ... Interesting I must admit.

So far I've recalled about 60% of the material.. of which 20% is missing considerable fragments, and then , and here's the really exciting part (ok, maybe not thaaaat exciting)... I've written what... 3 new piece ( well, 1 full, 1 skeletal with a little bit of meat and the other, just a riff...) Not bad going for a chic who kinda wanted to believe all was lost!!

Now all I have to do is lay the tracks down and get all o y'all to buy it and I'll be minted!! Although... If you just listen appreciate and spread.. I'll be equally happy - not as wealthy but nevertheless happy! :)

Time Zones!

You know what... I feel really passionate about this... What the heck am I meant to say to my body when it's forced to get out of bed a whole hour earlier than it usually is forced to?? It's a struggle! A serious struggle. I love sleeping at the best of times, but you know there are issues afoot when you clamber out of bed, rise to your feet... stand in a daze and involuntarily fall back into bed and pull the covers back over you.

And I'm not bringing this to light just for the general heck of it... oh no, this time change from GMT(Greenwhich Meanz)Time) to BST (Bull Shit Time) - obviously!)lends serious issues to my creativity... How's one supposed to muster up the energy to stay up and write a song, play an instrument, produce a track... when the body is only concerned with getting the hour of sleep it lost!

What I'm experiencing is jet lag without the jet, and I don't like it!
